Samara Yoga & Gurdjieff Dances
Samara Yoga is a traditional art of meditation in movement and a gentle form of yoga,
It allows to better know and live in this instrument of our incarnation that is our physical body.
Beyond it's action on the spine, joints and muscles, it has a harmonizing action on all organs and all bodily systems.
Gurdjieff Dances come from the teachings of the schools of wisdom and the mystical centers of Asia and the Middle East. G. I. Gurdjieff, philosopher, spiritual teacher and influential composer of the early twentieth century collected, adapted and started teaching these dances in Europe. These movements were subsequently taught around the world.
G.I. Gurdjieff has adapted these sacred dances of great spiritual traditions to the sensibility and needs of contemporary society. Beyond their formal beauty, they constitute a powerful tool that restructures the body, calms the mind and gives a new capacity for observation and self-awareness in everyday life.
Samadeva completes the Gurdjieff movements by integrating Samara Yoga’s elements and its pedagogy of being, based on self-awareness and others in a harmonious interrelation.

* Art of Staying Connected - class based on contact improvisation for those who want to enter into contact with themselves and the others through the conscious movement and touch.
Body is an instrument which allows us to perceive and experience the reality here and now.
This dance form requires not only the movement technique, but also training of attention and cultivation of quality relationship with others. It's a great way to see, expand and transcend own limits.
* Dance session Queen of Sheba - Pythagoras 4
based on Gurdjieff movements and Samadeva dances
A wonderful guided dance journey, through the archetypes and legends towards the meeting with inner Dancer.
Like any form of sacred art, these dances are sober, beautiful, inspiring and pure. They lead to a harmonious bodily balance, the appeasement of thoughts and emotions ... They are a "science of movement" that offers a privileged way of access to the true presence to oneself, generating inner growth.
Each movement carries in its form a precise symbolism. Their diversity stimulates both the body and the mind and transforms the more negative part of us, leaving room for great feelings, joy, serenity ...
Choreography of Samadeva leads into contact with what is most beautiful, pure and profound in us.
